Born in 1942 in Strasbourg (Alsace).
Trained as a Photographer and Cameraman in Karlsruhe, Berlin and Hamburg.
Afterwards working as a freelance documentary cameraman for various TV stations and free photographic works.
For 10 years, intensive photographic study of the nature theme
I take photos on the fluctuating ground of the facts, everywhere is life and movement, vitality and rhythm.
In this uninterrupted interplay I find the material from which - with the help of combinations, reflections or multiple exposures - my pictures originate. The boundaries between fact and fiction are fluid. I would like to put normal things in the light of the particular, taking away the self-evident. Sometimes I play with the inadequacies of our perception, to prevent against certainties. Or I try to do correspond to the fact, that we are dealing always with acts and not with fixities.

And I follow Hans Magnus Enzensberger, who says in a poem: „There is no art without the pleasure”
