Finned nets to catch squid
Tuan Nguyen Tan, Viet Nam
Finned nets to catch squid
DESCRIPTION
Fishermen in central Vietnam often use nets to catch squid near the shore. When detecting the squid, people use boats to drop nets around the squids in a circle. Then pull the drawstring to tighten the bottom so that the ink does not escape to the bottom. At this time, fishermen will put squid into the net and then use a racket to shovel the squid onto the boat. With this method, fishermen can fish both day and night.
AUTHOR
My name is Nguyen Tan Tuan, born in 1983. I was born and raised in Central Vietnam. When I came to photography in 2015, I was fascinated with capturing the beautiful scenes of my homeland, especially the labor beauty of my people.
