DESCRIPTIONMany times we enjoy solitude, but there is nothing more true than enjoying something in company. When we practice a sport it is more interesting and fun when we play with someone else. On the other hand, there are sports that cannot be played alone.
AUTHORMilton Sosa is a photographer, video maker and graphic designer from Havana, Cuba. It’s the people and their unique experiences that are the island’s greatest asset and his work is a direct reflection of that. He loves to share how he sees the world through the pictures he takes, inspired by pretty much any and all facets of this beautiful life, grand and bold, through unpretentious and dainty. He is relatively freshly based in California in the Bay Area. Currently he is devoted to doing photography and music videos.
“Milton Sosa's creative discourse, heterogeneous in its language/expressive ways, bets on contrasting colors, attention to detail, compositional richness and a deeply exquisite technique. In his style, he mingles in synchronous dialogue between photography and video forms. The images advocate for symmetry, refined beauty of forms, unique framing and contrasts between lights and shadows. The audiovisuals, seductive in their interplay of image and sound, draw on their photographic aesthetics, yet never cease to transmit their content through meticulous staging, narration and characterization of the cast. Milton Sosa’s work, conceptually permeated by contemporary codes, has the ability and power to trigger truly delectable encounters with art.”
